LRCS 2018 -2022 STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLETED
“ I am touched and humbled by the level and energetic participation of both the board, management and stuff in the formulation of the Society’s Five Year Strategic Plan of 2018-2022”, this was said by the President of Lesotho Red Cross Society Mr. Silas Mosuhli when officially closing the Strategic Planning (SP) Meeting recently. He assured the team that the Board is committed in supporting in any way possible the management to ensure the implementation of the SP.
He said he is convinced that there is a a great possibility of the Society going back to being the successful National Society with projects and partner of choice like it used to be. “We are a team, all of us right down to the branches, hence we all need to work hard to achieve our goals”, he added. He expressed his gratitude for the excellent facilitation done by the International Federation of the Red Cross Country Cluster Support Team Southern Africa based in Pretoria South Africa Ms Wangechi Mathenge who is National Society Development Officer. The two day meeting when reviewing the current SP and situation in the country had these questions to ponder on;
1. What are the challenges facing Lesotho?
2. Should LRCS bother?
3. If yes or no, why?
