Mr Silas MosuhliMr Masilo was born in Thaba Tseka on August 8, 1978. He is married with two children. He was elected to the position of the President on 3rd May 2015.
Mr Masilo holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Policy Management from the University of Zambia and BA in Development studies and Human Geography from the National University of Lesotho.
Before assuming the LRCS presidency Mr Masilo worked at Lesotho Red Cross from 2004-2007 where he managed various disaster management and food security projects. He continued his career in the NGO sector from 2008 – 2013 in the LCN working on capacity building and coordination of NGOs in fields of Disaster management and Economic justice. From 2013- 2015, Mr Masilo joined the UN system in Lesotho working on Donor coordination and Effectiveness until he recently joined Action Aid as a Regional Manager.
